Terms & Conditions

  • At least one parent/carer MUST remain on-site at all times.
  • Parents/carers are not required to remain in the classroom while the class is in session. However, they must remain on-site and be available to supervise their child when the child is outside the organised class.
  • Children must be supervised by a parent/carer when they are in the adjoining communal area or any other area where the organised class is not taking place.
  • Parents/carers must remain on-site and supervise their children during Sign School outdoor, sports and other activities where their child is not directly participating in an organised session.
  • Sign School, its team and volunteers do not provide drop-off childcare or replace parental/carer supervision.
  • Parents/carers must ensure that their child is booked onto the session and payment has been made before attending. If you wish to discuss booking or payment, please speak to a member of the Sign School team.
  • As a community language and sports school, we encourage regular attendance to help ensure that children receive the full benefit of the sessions and activities we provide.
  • Parents/carers must inform the Project Manager at least 24 hours before the session if their child will not be attending Sign School that week. If this is not possible due to an unforeseen circumstance, please inform Sign School as soon as possible.
  • Please do not take, share or post photographs or videos of other children or participants at Sign School on social media without appropriate permission.
  • Please inform a member of the Sign School team as soon as possible of any changes to your child's medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, communication or support needs, or emergency contact details.
  • Parents/carers must follow reasonable safety instructions given by Sign School, activity leaders, venues or emergency services.
  • Sign School will take reasonable steps to provide safe activities and follow its safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • By booking your child onto a Sign School session, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions and agree to follow Sign School's relevant policies and procedures.
